Something unusual happened on a 36-block stretch of Third Avenue at the end of January. The traffic lights were slowed down.
A man died and two were hurt by an early-morning fire that tore through a Brooklyn apartment building Sunday, police said.
The fatal fire happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday at a building on 80th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue.
