According to reports over Super Bowl weekend, the Jets had reportedly told Rodgers he would no longer be the team’s QB moving forward. That has since been confirmed by the team. With it fully known that the 41-year-old would be moving on, the Jets sent that “thank you” note to Rodgers on social media.

The New York Jets announced they are parting ways with quarterback Aaron Rodgers after two seasons. Shortly after that announcement, the team sent out a thank you message to the future Hall of Famer that was not well-received.

“I hope that’s the only thing that’s déjà vu,” Rodgers answered.
