Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey and County Mayor Randy Geiger are in agreement that the Sheriff’s Department animal shelter on Jones Bend Road should be closed.

Deputies along with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the Henry County Dog Warden seized 28 animals from the home December 10. The home was operating as a animal rescue called Zesty Misfits.
