Yuval Raphael, survivor of the Nova music festival terrorist attack by Hamas in October 2023, has turned to music to help her process her trauma and will represent Israel in the Eurovision contest.

The Chief of General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, has resigned. The general took responsibility for the events of October 7th, the day of the attack on Israel by Hamas fighters.
