The CEO of Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin announced in an all-hands call on Thursday company-wide layoffs of "about 10 percent" of its employees, a sweeping readjustment of its space and launch business.

In an email to employees, the company’s chief executive said the company had become bloated during its growth in recent years.

Jeff Bezos’ space company Blue Origin LLC is said to cut 10% of its workforce, according to people familiar with the cuts.
