A South Lake Tahoe man died Monday after an avalanche struck as he skied in El Dorado County’s backcountry, authorities and family said.
On Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. the NWS Reno NV issued a lake wind advisory valid for Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for Lake Tahoe.
