Escambia County Public Schools is announcing several grade shifts at elementary schools over the next few years.

Press, in collaboration with Lee County high school principals and their staffs, are putting top students in the spotlight.

The change means Beaumont Magnet Academy and Maynard Elementary School will close. West View Elementary will be converted into a preschool.
