Penn State will install about 7,900 temporary seats at Beaver Stadium during the renovation, scheduled for completion in 2027.

Penn State revealed extensive details of the ongoing Beaver Stadium renovation project Thursday, including the temporary seating for the next two football seasons and the amount of premium seating that will be created for the 2027 season.

Penn State's Beaver Stadium is the nation's second-largest stadium, with a seating capacity of 106,572. Penn State wants to maintain that home-field advantage for Nittany Lions football.

Penn State Athletics has unveiled new details on the ongoing Beaver Stadium revitalization, a multi-year project aimed at enhancing fan experience, increasing revenue, and supporting all 31 Nittany Lions athletics programs.
