Feb. 9, Lady Gaga delivered a surprise performance of 'Hold My Hand' on Bourbon Street in honor of the New Orleans terror attack and the Los Angeles fires. The song was featured on the 2022 soundtrack for 'Top Gun: Maverick.

Fresh off her Grammy win, Lady Gaga headed to New Orleans for the Super Bowl where she performed an emotional rendition of “Hold My Hand.” Gaga performed the song on Bourbon Street as a tribute to the victims of the New Year’s attack which left 14 people dead.

Lady Gaga surprised the 2025 Super Bowl audience on Sunday with a pre-recorded performance of her song “Hold My Hand.” Performed in the French Quarter of New Orleans, the taping’s inclusion was intended to honor those lost in the Bourbon Street attack on Jan. 1.

Lady Gaga delivered a standout performance ahead of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. Before the thrilling matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, the Grammy winner took the spotlight for a tribute segment, honoring the victims and responders of the terror attack on Bourbon Street in January.

As the time of the game neared, Fox Sports' Tom Brady led a tribute to the city that also featured Michael Strahan, New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, former Saints coach Sean Payton and Terry Bradshaw on the iconic Bourbon Street.

As Super Bowl LIX prepared to kick off in New Orleans, Lady Gaga serenaded the French Quarter. Donned in all white, the 2x Grammy winner sat at a piano on a stage in the middle of the street as she performed her single ‘Hold My Hand’ from the soundtrack of Top Gun: Maverick (2022).
