Some school districts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire are closed on Thursday because of a snow and ice storm.

Thursday's storm is expected to drop a few inches of snow, followed by an icy mix that could make travel slippery.

Nearly 300 schools are closed or have early dismissals Thursday as heavy snow and sleet is expected to make for hazardous travel in Massachusetts and New England.
