Saquon Barkley wasn’t happy that Taylor Swift was booed at Super Bowl 2025. The Eagles’ star running back explained that he didn’t understand why the pop star, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, didn’t receive a warm welcome from fans in New Orleans after all the good she’s done for the NFL.

As Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs took on the Eagles during the Super Bowl, many spectators decided to boo the pop star when she showed up on the jumbotron. She seemed confused by this reaction, I was confused by it too, and so was Saquon Barkley, as he explained on The Howard Stern Show:

During the first quarter of the Eagles’ Super Bowl win over the Chiefs, Swift was booed loudly when she was shown on the Superdome videoboard. Swift shrugged off the boos, as she was in attendance to root on boyfriend Travis Kelce.
