Mikel Merino is pushing to start in attack when Arsenal host West Ham this weekend. Merino excelled off the bench last week as an emergency striker and scored both goals as Arsenal beat Leicester 2-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Graham Potter has confirmed that Lucas Paqueta will miss the game against Arsenal on Saturday after suffering an ankle injury in training. The Brazilian midfielder could also miss West Ham’s following game against Leicester but Hammers boss Potter hopes to have him back soon.
