Mark Hoppus has owned the Banksy painting since 2011, but says he now wants to sell it to buy works by up-and-coming artists and also to donate to good causes - including a charity supporting victims of the recent LA fires.

Expected to sell for up to $6.3 million, Hoppus says proceeds of the sale will go towards charities aiding those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.

Crude Oil (Vettriano)' is being sold in London next month from the collection of Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, who sees Banksy as a kindred spirit.
