A dozen migrants were found aboard a sail boat off the coast of Point Loma Sunday morning in a suspected smuggling incident, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.
A U.S. Coast Guard patrol interdicted a dozen people aboard a vessel 12 miles west of Point Loma in San Diego Sunday.
All 12 people aboard the boat were taken into custody and were en route to transfer to the Imperial Beach Border Patrol, officials said.
