Well, to get a bed in Hello Kitty Island Adventure (at least in the early game), you can head to My Melody's shop in the square. The inventory might change over time, but in our game, we had access to a Kawaii Bed for 30 Sand Dollars and 3 Rubber, and an Antique Bed for 30 Sand Dollars and 3 Sticks.
