The icing on the lake: How frozen is Lake Erie at end of February?
As of Feb. 24, Lake Erie is 86% to 87% frozen over, according to the National Weather Service office in Cleveland which handles the Erie forecast. Earlier in February, Lake Erie was 95% frozen over.
