After South Korean actor Kim Sae-ron was found dead in her home on February 16, multiple Facebook pages with tens of thousands of followers shared images falsely claiming they show surveillance footage of her last moments in an elevator.

Actor Kim Sae-ron’s death adds to the list of celebrity deaths in South Korea that underscore the enormous pressure they face under the gaze of a relentlessly unforgiving media that pounces on their every misstep.

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, who previously starred in the Netflix action series Bloodhounds, is suspected to have died by suicide, South Korean Police confirmed via local outlets and the New York Times.

Late actor Kim Sae-ron's posthumous film, "Everyday We Are" (translated), aims to premiere within this year, according to a Yonhap News report. The director of the film, Kim Min-jae, told the news agency on Thursday that he is in the process of editing the recorded footage into the film version.
