An avalanche watch was reported by the NWS Reno NV on Monday at 1:51 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 5 a.m. The NWS says, "HIGH avalanche danger is expected to occur in the backcountry beginning early Tuesday morning and continuing until Wednesday morning. Additional periods of HIGH avalanche danger may occur through the remainder of this week."
