Video obtained by Hawaii News Now shows shows black smoke billowing into the sky on Pikale Place shortly before 7:30 p.m.

New video shows the moments before and after an outdoor grill exploded at a resort in West Maui. The blast, which is too graphic to show, injured at least nine people. It happened at around 6:15 p.m.

According to reports, police said seven people, ranging from ages 18 to 74, suffered injuries. Three were taken to hospitals.
