Commissioned in the late 18th century by the much exalted king of Mysore, Tipu Sultan, the two-floor Indo-Islamic palace made entirely out of teak, is a testament to Bengaluru's storied past.
There’s also the Royal House of Mysore shop where tourists can buy beautiful handicraft items and exclusive silk saris and dupattas. The palace is open to visitors every day from 10 am to 5.30 pm.
