President Donald Trump has been in office for a month and his administration launched into a flurry of executive actions, court challenges and DOGE directives.

The Thursday poll shows Trump at 47% approval rating with 52% disapproval. The poll found that a plurality of Americans, 28%, say Trump's "single most significant" action has been securing the border, followed by his slashing of government with Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency at 12%.

Previous polling showed that the economy was the most important issue to voters in the 2024 election—with many casting their ballots for Trump, who was inaugurated last month, hoping he would fulfill his pledge to curb inflation while revitalizing U.S. trade and industry.
