A weather system spreads moisture northward through western Oregon early Thursday. Timing has sped up a bit which means snow or a snow/freezing rain mix is likely soon after or at daybreak. Roads will likely be icy/snowy for much of the day Thursday and into Friday morning.

Portions of Eastern Kentucky woke up more rain this morning. Rain chances did let up in the afternoon hours, but we are looking at our next wave pushing through this evening and into the overnight hours.

The cold lingers all day Wednesday, with highs in the teens, extra clouds and a few lingering flurries in the Denver weather forecast.
