Flu Trumps COVID Deaths for First Time in Years
For the past two months, deaths from influenza have surpassed ones caused by COVID-19 for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began in 2020, according to Professor Peter Chin-Hong, who cites preliminary mortality data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ). Newsweek has contacted the CDC via email for comment.

Whereas, the rate of Covid-related deaths sits at 1.3 percent.
