Half of Hartford's fire department responded to a house fire in the city where 19 people have been displaced and four people, including a firefighter, have been injured.

Five families were displaced by a fire in a multi-family home in Hartford on Saturday. Firefighters responded to the fire at 45 Fenwick Street around 1:50 p.m. They encountered heavy fire on the rear porches of the building.

When crews arrived, they observed a heavy fire from the rear porches that extended to the third floor and to another building.
