Marvel Comics announces a brand-new Spider-Man series that will see the fan-favorite Miles Morales swing back again into the Ultimate Universe.

Miles Morales got his start in the original Ultimate Universe before joining the main Marvel Universe in the wake of 2015's Secret Wars. Now, 10 years later, Miles is making the trip back the other way by venturing into the reborn Ultimate Universe in a new limited series titled Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion.

Miles Moralesis going back where it all began – joining Marvel's rebooted Ultimate Universe, after having originated in the first incarnation, which ran from 2000 to 2015. Introduced in 2011 as the new Spider-Man following the death of Ultimate Peter Parker,

Miles Morales is about to find himself back in the Ultimate Universe — except it’s not the Ultimate Universe he’s familiar with. Marvel’s original Ultimate Universe was one of the casualties of 2015-2016’s Secret Wars event.

According to an astonishing new rumour doing the rounds today, Sony Pictures is mulling over the possibility of making Miles Morales the main Spider-Man of its Marvel Universe post-Avengers: Secret Wars.
