Apr 25, 2019 · So Maya LT does let me select the faces I want, if I zoom the camera far out to the point, I can't even it the mesh. When I zoom close to the mesh, maya face selection will start to jump to faces I do not want to select. This is frustrating, given I purchased maya for the sole purpose to use it on my laptop.

Sep 13, 2016 · This is in that gray area... Technically, this is not a bug, although it is certainly a big annoyance. Press/Pull only works on one pre-selection at a time. That is, if you pre-select many faces, Press/Pull will only start with one face. You can go back and add faces once you start to drag, and it works as you think it should.

Create sketch on a face, project geometry then create face based on that profile - repeat this many times, using the bend tool to connect edges where appropriate to complete the sheet metal design.

Jun 7, 2016 · The other thread has the right idea - when a face turns green in the viewport, it's an indication that it has no shader assignment. This can happen while modeling, specifically when a modeling operation creates new faces (like Extrude or Bevel).
