And, I also have the Warren Thomas designed Spyderco Karambit but IMO it is mainly designed for show and is impractical as an actual SD weapon. I prefer the Fox over the Karahawk and prefer the Introvert over the Fox.

I don't know what it is abt 80CrV2, of which I own a handful of Winkler Knives and they are expensive too. I always feel like I'm getting taken for a ride when I buy anything 80CrV2. I've studied Escrima and Arnis in CA but never studied Karambit.

Jul 11, 2018 · A note about karambit rings. I've started to size my karambit rings with black gorilla tape -- to fit snugly on my finger. Not too snugly so i can quickly slide finger in the ring. The ring sized with tape makes for great retention in the hand. In a combat situation, there is no way the karambit will fall or get knocked out of my hand.

I suggest if you edc a hooked karambit to still always cutlery a straight edge, if even just something small on your keychain or a fixed blade, or a multi-tool. Together the two work quite well ...

Oct 30, 2021 · Can't think of any with that hole pattern. As mentioned, index with pinkie is findable. And there are a few full knuckle duster versions I've seen before. Neat knife. With so much of the karambit's mainstream popularity based on the spin, it will be tough to find many without the standard "just pinkie" design.
