The mission of Aspinwall Riverfront Park is to create an independent, self-sustaining community treasure and catalyst for the trail system. Aspinwall Riverfront Park is dedicated to the memory of Charles R. Burke.

Current access to the park property is awkward and not clearly visible to either pedestrians or vehicles. Brilliant and Freeport is a “T” shaped intersection. Directly beyond the lights are pine trees, the Norfolk Southern Track, and a small parking lot.

Aug 8, 2020 · Enjoy lovely views of the Allegheny River at Farmer x Baker at Aspinwall’s Riverfront Park. The cafe is currently open for takeout and very limited outdoor seating, offering Friday night dinners (with a sunset view!) and seat-yourself tables.

Jun 12, 2017 · Aspinwall Riverfront Park opened in September 2015 after almost five years of work by the nonprofit organization of the same name, along with a slew of volunteers who continue to maintain the grounds and park amenities. The park offers bike and walking paths, a playground, amphitheater, kayaking in the summer and ice skating in the winter.

Back by popular demand – and The Dave and Beth Short Family Foundation’s generosity – we’re thrilled to announce the line up of this summer’s Rock the River Free summer concert series.

Jun 1, 2018 · Aspinwall Riverfront Park is excited to announce ROCK THE RIVER, a free summer concert series launching this month. Park organizers are inviting the public to ROCK THE RIVER with an eclectic mix of music and encouraging families to picnic while enjoying the outdoor performances as the sun sets over the Allegheny.

On October 1 st, join us in celebrating the unlimited potential of our City, its riverfronts, and the Park at The River Rocks 2021: Let’s Blaze a Trail. This is our first opportunity to add a major off road, riverfront connection in many years.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of thousands of people from all over the Region, businesses, Pittsburgh’s amazing Foundation community, Allegheny County, and the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Aspinwall Riverfront Park (ARP) was created in just a few years.
