Sep 3, 2009 · We average 300 geese/yr and maybe 250 ducks/year. 5 years in a row we have gotten 1 banded goose each year. I helped band ducks 3 years back and personally put on 300 bands- never to be seen again. all of are goose bands are from Ontario.

Oct 17, 2007 · Close enough to shoot at but not in the goose decoys. off to the side or behind where the geese would fly in from. You can use less duck decoys with goose decoys out. Duck like geese, but geese are not as fond of ducks.
