2020 Python Vs. 2019 King Cobra Target - Ruger Forum
Feb 17, 2021 · The frames are different (the 2020 Python is a larger frame and the 2019 King Cobra Target is the same frame as the old Colt Diamondback 38 Spl.), grip (which I actually prefer the wood KC target), and the vents cut in the rib of the Python. Of course a machine shop can cut vents but it does lighten the barrel a bit.
Colt King Cobra Target - Ruger Forum
Oct 13, 2019 · I have seen lots of ads for the 2" and 3" fixed sight versions of the new King Cobra. The 4.25" Target version with adjustable sights and a stippled wood grip got past me. I just recently saw it and think it is a really good looking revolver. I mean it's stainless, has a full lugged barrel, and says Colt on the side. What's not to like?
Colt King Cobra in .22 LR - Ruger Forum
May 27, 2022 · The Colt King Cobra is "reasonably priced" on today's market. It's $849 MSRP price tag compares favorably with S&W's Mod 617 @ $829 or Ruger's GP100-22 @ $1029, all of which are full sized DA 10-shot revolvers. Full sized revolvers are intended to be a "training gun" for their centerfire counterpart.
New 2022 Colt King Cobra Target 22. revolver. - Ruger Forum
Aug 6, 2022 · Ten shot, SS, 4 & 6 inch bbl lengths, AND they kept it under $1,000. Under 1K equals $999.00! LOL Well, during a recession, $1,000 is not to be thrown around. A shame Colt could not make this 22 revolver a bit more affordable. It is a D frame like their new King Cobra 357 mag which is what the old Colt Diamondback 38 Special was.
Ruger GP100 Wiley Clapp or Colt Python - Ruger Forum
Jul 1, 2021 · Second was the name changes. Colt should have kept the Magnum Carry/Detectve Special names. Going to the Cobra/King Cobra name plates was foolish, and has caused quite a bit of confusion when it comes to accessories. Also, Colt should have brought out a .38 Special and .357 Magnum Diamondback lineup instead of the King Cobra Target.
New (2017) colt cobra vs. Ruger sp101 - Ruger Forum
Mar 27, 2019 · The Colt over the Ruger but would give the Kimber a good look too. In any case the higher price for either the Colt or Kimber would raise my expectations considerably versus the SP101. The SP101 is a good value and can be tuned up a bit if needed but I would expect the Colt or Kimber to be tops right out of the box.
The new Colt King Cobra Target - NY Gun Forum
Sep 21, 2019 · Oh wow, I actually posted about an NYS legal gun, imagine that! When I finally get around to purchasing a revolver I am going to very seriously consider this one. It seems a bit more special than the 686 for some reason. Maybe I am just a sucker for Colt cachet and snake names. But if I bought...

Dec 21, 2021 · I may have to polish my King Cobra, that looks great! Polished finish will look better with my new Python and Anaconda. Looking for a factory original wood grips for mine, original wood are crazy priced! I traded my $200 stainless Speed Six for my 1987 King Cobra straight up, think I got the better end of the deal.

Replace Fiber Optic Sight on GP-100 22LR - Ruger Forum
Nov 12, 2023 · I like the way a fiber optic picks up light and fast target acquisition, but the biggest gripe I have with them is the way they seem to sight above the plane of the barrel. Seem to be an add-on that doesn't flow with the lines of the firearm. I've been looking at Colt's new King Cobra 22 LR revolver. Same ugly add-on looking fiber optic front ...
