I'd have thought 'Fire Engine Red' would have been an industry-standard colour with a RAL code, although the RAL 3000 listed on that site isn't the correct shade. Chassis was as rotten as a peach, new Richards Chassis arrived, axels were refurbed and blasted/powder coated plus all built up with brand spanking new parts.

Dec 12, 2024 · The issue im having is, she will fire up, run extremely "lumpy" and then stalls out most of the time immediately but sometimes will run for 30seconds. Touching throttle kills engine instantly. I am thinking the injection pump has been played with but i have no idea how to get it back to "standard" if it has.

Nov 9, 2024 · Hi, at times I get the red triangle up with restricted performance mode. Turn the engine off and back on it goes away. Can go weeks without it, 98% of the time it’s okay. If I plug the Gap IID tool in when this happens no faults showing up. Thinking some rogue sensor or something as no faults on the tool. Any ideas, thanks?

May 25, 2021 · 4) Bad contact of ECM connector due to oil contamination in Red connector 5) Problem with CKP - crank position sensor. This can be due to the twin shielded cable connecting it to the ECM. The cable goes brittle with age and may be breaking inside, although this doesn't really fit with your symptoms. 6) Starter motor failing.

Jun 8, 2021 · It was well serviced on 20MAY2021 with £700 bill and then on 31May2021 suddenly it flashed red light with engine oil critically low and then I stopped the car immediately and dropped the car with the dealer. Now they are saying Engine is gone and I need new engine which costs about 20k.

Dec 21, 2024 · I once saw a fire engine approaching with full blues and it was like a panel about 3ftx2ft of solid blue/purple light. Pretty sure it was brighter than the sun but it nearly burned my retina. I think they are designed for motorways or something.

Jan 22, 2009 · This engine colour paint is always a bit controversial but don't forget is was a paint used on other military vehicle engines as well. We are not going back many years and I would have considered copies of build spec. etc. would have turned out something definitive by now.
