Since 21 January 2025, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has conducted a large-scale military operation, which it has titled "Iron Wall" [d], against Palestinian militants in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Israel's operation initially only targeted the Jenin Brigades, a local Palestinian militia in Jenin, [29] but has spread to Tulkarm and other Palestinian cities and towns.
