Mike Scott pitched nine seasons in a Houston uniform, tallying a 110-81 record with a 3.30 ERA and 1,318 strikeouts in 263 games (259 starts). He became the first pitcher in MLB history to throw a no-hitter in a clinching situation when he shut down San Francisco, 2-0, to help the Astros wrap up the NL West Division title on Sept. 25, 1986.
