Jan 16, 2006 · Not sure if anyone has expierenced this but it's freaking me out. Whenever I drink something lately I get a sharp pain in the left side of my chest. Its like as soon as the liquid passes where my heart is the pain stops. It's quick and it doesn't happen when I swallow food, just liquid. I don't know what it could be. Any help is appreciated.

My doctor made the final diagnosis by pressing on the areas where the pain occured and she was able to cause the pain to come back. Mine was caused by some awkward lifting I had been doing on my left side for a few weeks. It has been about a year and a half since the diagnosis.

Oct 6, 2009 · I keep having a sharp pain 1 inch to the left of the middle of my chest, its like a piercing and it happens every now and then , its been like this the past 2 days. Ill watch my chest and wait for it to happen and when it happens it almost seems like you can see the place where i feel the pain move up , maybe like a bubble.
