Jul 16, 2020 · The idea is the new solar will be non-exporting. Your old solar will continue to export power but your batteries will help you try to self-consume your new solar. I know that Enphase has been selling this configuration pretty hard recently. I have a vague memory that Tesla has a similar configuration. @miimura might know.

(and Pay for consumed power during same window) My PW2 start charging as soon as surplus Solar is available and is always full by 1000hrs, and I can't find a Time/cost based program that suits this . Feb 28, 2013 · That wall connector works on my original Tesla of 2012 and my new 2022 Tesla plaid. On the 2012 I can cycle it all the way up to 80 amps on the 2022 it'll only go up to 48 amps. However when I plug this wall connector into my cybertruck the charge port stays red and it won't charge I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this.

Nov 5, 2023 · That's exactly what it is. For normal AC charging, the power pins go to the PCS (the charger) which converts wall AC to the high voltage DC the battery needs to charge. When using a Supercharger, the HV junction box connects the power pins directly to the battery so the external charger can deliver the high voltage DC to charge the battery.
