Mar 5, 2023 · My son's 02 4.7l tundra started making a strange noise the other day from the engine bay. It's a grinding, gurgling nose that doesn't speed up or slow down with engine rpm. I thought the fan was hitting the shroud, but it doesn't appear to be, as far as I can tell. We recently had the alternator and idler pulley changed. Truck has 250k on it.

Sep 11, 2024 · 02 tundra v8 iforce Replaced started now it wont stay running. It turns on but wont stay on i haven't put coolant because i didnt wamt to have to draim it if something was wrong can this be the issue.

Jan 22, 2025 · Good morning all, I'm hoping someone could assist in verifying part numbers for the body mounts on my 02 Tundra Limited access cab 4x4 TRD. I've searched multiple forums with no results and cross referenced multiple parts dealers and I get conflicting results on what parts fit my truck. Here are the numbers I've got:

Jan 8, 2025 · Im trying to chase down a shake it a 02 tundra 4x4 limited. The shake is like the abs is engaging but no abs light and you cant feel it in the pedal. I have turned the front rotors even tho there wasn't a shake in the steering wheel. Put new trq drums and shoes on it. Adjusted parking brake like manual said. Also replaced carier bearing.

Dec 2, 2024 · 02 Tundra AC SR5 V8 4x4 Well, the good news is all the bolts move freely to take off the PS pump and old alternator. The tricky part is trying to figure out the best way to get that positive connector off the old alternator without breaking it.
