The Compact GuardLogix controller is a 1769-L3 CompactLogix controller that provides safety control to achieve SIL CL 3 according to EN62061 / EN 61511-1 / IEC 61508 and PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1. A major benefit of this system is that it’s still one project; safety and standard control together.

These controllers are part of the Logix line of Process Automation Controllers (PAC) from Allen Bradley and are designed to accommodate small to medium sized automation projects.

Dec 10, 2023 · Firmware v20.019 is the highest available firmware for the 1769-L32E and 1769-L35E CompactLogix controllers. Firmware compatibility for 1769-L30ER was checked as of January 2024. It can be higher with newer releases. Firmware for the controllers listed above can be downloaded at the Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC).
