My buddy has a 2004 21 Paramount with a 225 Merc on it. It's faster than my boat by about 3 mph. Surprisingly good ride in chop. Very fast. Construction is ok, has a few minor issues....but fast.

May 6, 2011 · The only way a 21 Paramount is gonna run 70 is if you drop it over Niagra falls. I don't care what motor you put on it, the bottom has a hook and it will not carry the bow. The hook is what makes it such a great riding boat for a narrow 21 footer.
