Feb 6, 2015 · The models are all made to 1/1000th scale and will suit 2mm figures or 1/1200th aircraft and naval models. They also work well with larger scale aircraft models (we use 1/600th models with our buildings for WW2 aircraft games).

May 12, 2015 · Four forts were built out to sea in the Solent itself – No Man’s Land and Horse Sands (which were pretty much identical), Spitbank and St Helen’s forts. We’ve modelled all of these as part of our Small Scale Scenery range, including a proposed turreted version of No Man’s Land/Horse Sands Fort with turrets that was never built but looks great !

All of our figures and buildings are designed in a CAD environment at 2mm scale. Our 300+ (and counting) models are collected in the Forward March Studios Library. Along with the files you purchase a license to print an unlimited number of 3D copies.

Oct 30, 2022 · I thought I’d do a short review of some of the recently released 2mm buildings from Irregular Miniatures, and see how they compare to another manufacturer, particularly with regard to those in my Strength and Honour project.

A set of 2mm (1/900) scale fort cannon. Each pack contains 4 strips of 7 guns each – total of 28 guns. Designed for use with the various forts in the Brigade Models series.

The 2mm Scale Association exists to promote and facilitate modelling at the scales around 2mm:1ft. This encompasses 2mmFS (2mm/ft, 1:152), finer scale UK N-gauge models (1:148) and finer scale US/European models (1:160). The scale has a long history as the smallest practical finescale standard.

It was built to protect the main fort at Matara from landward attacks, following a successful assault by Singhalese forces in 1762. It has a rather unusual 6-sided plan with a central building and courtyard, and mounted 12 cannon with interleaving fields of fire.
