May 24, 2013 · Depends on how mechanically inclined you are. I just replace my DOHC engine. Bought a used one from ebay for 950 (that includes shipping) I decided to do the 60k one the new engine so 400 for parts from IPS. Had a local mechanic come to my house do the 60k and help me pull the engine, swap tranny and put engine back in for 500.
