May 15, 2020 · Ammo, I used 2 different factory HR mag and one factory 32 SW long. Like .38’s and .357’s I didn’t shoot the short ones first then try to stick longer HR’s in the chambers. I wiped down the front of the cyl. Cleaned and inspected the extractor, wiped down the forcing cone and all that good stuff. Also had 2 or 3 light primer strikes.

Finally, the seating and crimping die must reach low enough to seat the bullet and crimp the mouth of the shortest cartridge you wish to load.

Sep 16, 2023 · Shot my rechambered 30-1 again this morning. I made up 25 rounds of ,32 H&R Magnum for a test run. The bullet was a ,32 (.311) 100 grain cast lead SWC, Winchester SPP were used, and 10.3 grains of Lil Gun. This made for a fairly stout load for a two inch J Frame.

Jan 25, 2011 · I just purchased at a gunshow, a 631 in 32 h&r mag. the product code on the box is 103664. The standard catalog for S&W says that there were only 190 of these made in 1990 with a 2" bbl and not engraved with "ladysmith". Is this true? any other info? thanks for your input.
