Jun 1, 2015 · I mostly row small boats so I'm not the best person to comment on set when going from sweep to scull, but from my experience it's easier to have a well-set 4x than a 4-/+ as a result of the extra oars. Would that not be the same for an eight? (Easier to set an 8x than an 8+)
