Jul 12, 2015 · Rotate pipes to project light correctly: since the white line should be on the bottom already, hold the pipe against the dash. it should project a thin light beam up onto the dashboard. you may have to rotate the pipe slightly to get it to shine correctly.

Jul 3, 2014 · I've read that the best thing to do is sand the area of the trim panel where the light pipe/el wire/el tape will be sitting starting with 400 grit, then 600 grit, then 1000 grit to smooth it out. I started with 320 on mine, then 400, then 1000.

Oct 2, 2010 · In fact mine is lit by one LED light way over on the passenger side. I did trim a little bit off of two of the clips on the dash piece, but that is it. If you do it that way, you need to break the LED out of the door light holder, and attach the tube with a piece of airline tubing.
