This is going in a '67 RS Cammaro with a 396 BB and it is a power steering system that utilzes the hydraboost braking system.

Nov 24, 2009 · Looking at the AGR steering from Summit for a 68 coup. 12:1 is very fast, I would suggest for racing. 16:1 to 13:1 is a variable ratio. AGR uses it for their resto cruizer box. It is basicly what the 3rd generation Z-28's and IROC's used. …

Jun 17, 2020 · See what it feels like once the engine is running? Send it to AGR? Buy something different? I have their AGR 12:1 ratio model #292117 and like its better precision over the factory gearbox. It feels heavy and does have a half-inch of free play at the center point.

Oct 18, 2011 · These aluminum inserts allow you to use your original 45 degree flare tubes with male 5/8 & 11/16 nuts and screw them right into the o-ring port (s) with M16 & M18 machined female threads. The threads are close enough that you can screw them together even though 5/8-18 and M16x1.5 as well as 11/16-18 and M18x1.5 are theoretically different.

Jun 22, 2016 · Hello, years ago I purchased an AGR 12.7:1 quick ratio steering box from summitracing. The first one leaked out the nose cone and never used, replaced w/another. This replacement developed a "hard spot" when returning to straight from a left hand turn.
