Oct 20, 2011 · I have an ASP 108 with OS 7d carb. What prop should I use and how much nitro would I need? It is the older ASP. I bench ran it with 5 nitro and a beat up 16x8 MAS prop, but didn't tach it so I don't know where I am at. I was thinking of trying a 16x6 or 17x5. I would like some advice from others who have ran or know of this motor. Thanks.

Mar 4, 2013 · At this point we have been looking into the ASP 108A engines as they seem to provide a good output with a good power to weight and power to price relationship. However, would you consider this set of engines reliable? Would the combination of both actually be able to provide a power output of 6HP?

Aug 26, 2014 · With a 1.08 cid engine it will fly a bit faster, but also land like a heavy floor-tile! Being a scale model, you don't have the option of mounting the engine further to the rear, so you will need to compensate with ballast in the tail, to balance the pound heavier engine.

Aug 18, 2011 · Do you use a starter on your 108's or do you flup start them? Test ran the magnum 108 today with a MAS 15x6 simitar prop using Omgea 10% full. I have a good idle 2300RPM and a I am getting 9000RPM on the high end. I think this engine will be perfect my great Planes Escapde 60 I have it installed on.
