Brer Rabbit is the titular main protagonist of The Adventures of Brer Rabbit. He is the black-tailed jackrabbit and he was a cousin and close friend of Brer Turtle along with other critters like Brer Bear, Brer Gator, Sister Buzzard, and other critters. He was voiced by Nick Cannon.

Brer Wolf is the secondary antagonist in the 2006 film, The Adventures of Brer Rabbit. His main goal throughout the film is to have Brer Rabbit for dinner, the same as Brer Fox's goal, though he always fails due to his hobby of easily falling for Brer Rabbit’s tricks.
