I recently did the roof lining on my Box and from that (albeit, limited) experience, I would suggest that you acquire some more matching material (probably from your chap on Ebay to ensure a match) and be generous and cut it to fit.

Feb 14, 2025 · I think the sump cover-plate is fairly sound. When I had the plate off about 7 years ago I think most bolt holes were closed off, but I am sure one or two were not. Never having installed a heli-coil, I would be better with the engine out to avoid going too deep. It will have to be a job for another day!! Chris KC
