Regular or premium? BMW 328 i X drive - Edmunds
Hi to all! I am in the market for a 328 i X drive. I previously had a 2006 X3 which I liked very much. Although I began using premium fuel, I was told by several people including my salesperson, that using regular would not hurt the engine and the reduction …
My experience owning a high mileage BMW 328i for the last 5 years.
Jan 4, 2020 · Overall the 328 is a great car, its been reliable, it drives great, still looks good (I changed the chrome grill to black), and really a joy to own. There are things I wish were better built, like the cooling system, but overall a pretty solid car but with that said my parents 08 E 350 and 13 SLK 250 both with over 150,000 miles have been way ...
How reliable are 2007-2011 BMW 328i : r/BmwTech - Reddit
Second cars should serve a different purpose as the first. Get a properly fast fun project car, instead of a (relatively) low powered, (relatively) reliable, 328. However, don’t spring for the 335i’s that are a few grand more than the 328’s. Those are the sketchy ones, save up and get a nice ~12-15k specimen.
Should I Buy a Used BMW 328i : r/BmwTech - Reddit
Jul 5, 2022 · repairs on European cars in America are way pricier than American or Asian brands. We can get parts for our European cars cheap (from FCP Euro for example) but if you can’t do the work yourself, you have to go to a euro indie repair shop or a BMW dealer and a repair that cost $300 on an American/Jap car is $1200 a euro car…

Jun 25, 2022 · My 2013 BMW 328i xdrive has 135,000 miles and no major issues. I’m the second owner and purchased it at 24,000 miles. I change the oil every 5-7K replaced spark plugs, fixed a small oil leak, replaced the thermostat and will be replacing the serpentine belt this July. Here’s hoping no timing chain issues in the future!

BMW 328D : r/Diesel - Reddit
Nov 9, 2018 · Check out North American BMW Diesel Owners Group on Facebook. There’s a sticky. They aren’t problem-ridden; these cars are just robust and complicated due to their modernization. Lots of power from a 3L in-line twin turbo. Harmonic balancer replacement was $1000+ with labor, the carbon build-up clean is at least $1000 for a diesel.
How reliable is 2014 bmw 328d? : r/whatcarshouldIbuy - Reddit
The 328d is now my oldest BMW though, so we'll see. Common complaints online include oil leaks (common for BMW in general) CERTAIN 328d and 328i appear to have an issue with the timing chain, which can cause major issues including a dead engine in the middle of the highway.
Is the 2011 BMW 328i a good first car - Reddit
Sep 29, 2020 · I own 2006 325i for 5 years and it has very good reliability. 2011 328i has the same non-turbo 6 cylinder n52b30 engine, that was modified to fix all early years flaws and add some hp, so it's even better. It is probably most reliable BMW engine for 2011. Aside from the solid engine there are things that need attention and $$$.
