Voluntarily notifying all the owners means loosing $$$$$ because the repair involves many hours of work and expensive parts like exhaust camshaft and ledge.

This means it can take a lot more beating compared to the N54 open deck design. One of the favorite tuner engines of all time would be Toyota's 2JZ.

After taking delivery of a 2017 CPO M4 Competition with 17000kms(11000 miles), I immediately heard the S55 clicking noise after cold start. I have searched all the forums and sought help from local BMW groups about this issue, however the answers varied dramatically.

I'll explain my thinking as such: - It is a standard rate and assumes high mileage vehicles with corrosion/difficulty removing. - BMW prices on spark plugs are roughly $150-200 from BMW ($138 from ECS, for example) leaving $300-350.
