If you want to sim real life ops the 800 is your best bet since almost everyone flies them. If you don't want to spend much money, go with the 600 (it also has the more classic winglet-less look).

Apr 7, 2024 · From Aerosoft’s CRJ to Microsoft’s ATR to FlyByWire’s A32nx and iniBuilds A300-600, each of these aircraft have devoted part of their tablet functionality to enabling fast switches between aircraft panel states. PMDG does do panel states, but you have to select it via the FMC and then you have to restart your flight. It’s clunky.

Aug 8, 2014 · If you want easy, like Pierre, I'd recommend the 777. It's very highly automated, but gets you exposed to managing different systems, an FMS, and a more realistic autopilot.

Apr 13, 2015 · For flying, I personally prefer the 737NGX over the 777 - it's lighter and consequentially more forgiving of bad approach flying. It also requires more intervention from the pilot in a normal flight as not all of its systems are as automated as the 777. I find this makes for more interesting flying.
